Child trafficking in sports is a prevalent issue in African countries. Each year, thousands of children are lured into a false future by traffickers who are pretending to be sports agents. They claim to be agents coming from Europe with connections to reputable football leagues. The criminal act consists of a trafficker, demanding a large sum of money from the victim's parent, accommodation, and agents' costs. Once the child arrives in Europe, they are abandoned. The study analyzed the causes and consequences behind child trafficking from Cameroon to France in the sporting industry. Also, considers legal frameworks which safeguard the right of the child. For the purpose of this research, a child is anyone below the age of Eighteen years.
