This thesis analyzes current debates regarding corporate criminal liability under international law. I argue that nowadays when corporations increasingly engage in state like activities or operate in environments where state power is weak, they can cause significant harm therefore international society needs to implement an adequate legal framework to regulate how corporate may be held criminally liable for international core crimes, whilst Individual corporate officials and other employees may be founded civilly and criminally liable for violations or their involvement in crimes of international laws. I will critically analyze how international law can regulate this legal problem and show the scope of international obligations as well as suggest the best solution for how corporates can provide for obligations to be punished under international law.
