The thesis presents, in the first chapter, the lean system and then analyses the relationship between Lean Management and resilience, defining whether or not lean companies can be defined as resilient. Workers are important for both resilience and Lean Management, and, therefore, their contribution needs to be analysed. In the last chapter, some case studies are presented.
