The present work will verify teaching methods of Italian L2 to adult immigrant students in Italy, who occasionally attend language lessons. This work consists of four chapters: the first will state the preliminary theoretical information on teaching and learning Italian L2, with legislation; then, will be described the characteristics of adult students with migratory experience and the difficulties upon arrival in the host country (adaptation to a different cultural climate, the urgency of finding accommodation and professional employment, the bureaucratic management of asylum documents), the language implications, some possible difficulties encountered in teaching and possible approaches to making teaching effective. The second chapter will present the more specific theoretical references for this type of research and any previous research on the subject. The third and fourth chapter instead will report the results of the educational test, carried out at the School of Italian offered by the “Community of Sant’Egidio” in Padua, a voluntary organization that deals with the integration of immigrant people in Italy: after presenting the sample, the research questions and the approach used, the work will describe the teaching methods adopted, the problem of the occasional attendance by the students themselves and the reasons linked to it; after that, the final results will be presented. In conclusion, it will be examined whether the methods of teaching assessed have proved effective, considering the possible repercussions of the research.

Abstract
In conclusion, it will be examined whether the methods of teaching assessed have proved effective, considering the possible repercussions of the research.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
