Abstract
In a period in which central power is absent, between the eleventh and twelfth centuries, in Italy (central-northern) we are witnessing the formation of municipalities. The thesis analyzes three poetic works (Liber Cumanus, Liber Pergaminus, Liber Maiorichinus) contemporary (or almost), which represent the social and political-institutional mirror of the cities assumed therein. Despite the presence of rhetorical elements and political speeches, exalting the part supported by the authors, it is possible to grasp those aspects that denote a social and political dynamic and which, in the short term, will lead to the affirmation of autonomy. Among the protagonists of this 'adventure' we still find the bishop, but above all the citizens, cives and milites, and from their meeting / clash the new municipal realities will be born.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
