The thesis reconstructs the biography of the 18th-century artist and architect Giovanni Francesco Costa, examines his collection of etchings of ruins and the collection of etchings of Delizie del Fiume Brenta (the Delights of the River Brenta), and briefly narrates the history of architecture as illustrated in Costa's work.
La tesi riconstruice la biografia dell'artista e architetto settecentesco Giovanni Francesco Costa, esamina le sue raccolte di stampe rovinistiche e la raccolta di stampe delle Delizie del fiume Brenta, ed attraversa brevemente la storia dell'architettura come raffigurata nell’opera di Costa.
