Innovative tools for encouraging cooperation in forestry: the case of LIFE VAIA agroforestry project

It is since the seventies that the word agroforestry began to appear in the scientific community for define an ancient practise that, was replaced in time by modern systems more focused on production like monoculture farming. Despite this, in the last few year thanks to the increasingly need of world food demanding and new goals of world agriculture to create a more sustainable and ecological production system for dealing with climate change, agroforestry is being re-evaluated.
