The thesis is based on the internship I performed at Galdi Srl. I worked on the ASS (Adaptive Sealing System) Project whose aim is to incorporate inside one of the packaging machines produced by Galdi an intelligent system that is able to predict the sealing quality of the top part of a cartoon. This result was achieved developing Machine Learning models able to predict the sealing quality from the data registered by the machine during the processing of a packet.
