The following thesis was carried out during an internship at the company A.F. Bioenergie S.r.L. The purpose of the paper is to carry out an energy analysis of the biomethane and food grade liquid CO2 production plant present in the company. The thesis mainly focuses on the manufacturing process of biogas produced by anaerobic digestion (input parameter) in order to obtain biomethane, to be introduced into the network, and almost pure carbon dioxide in the liquid state, to be used in industry power supply (output parameters). The biological department, which allows the production of biogas starting from waste from the agro-food industry, is considered only in the theoretical descriptions of the first chapters, while in drafting the paper we focus more on modeling the biogas processing process using Matlab/Simulink software. biogas, analyzing each component of the fluid manufacturing process, in such a way as to calculate the power absorbed by each element, in order to obtain a simulator capable of predicting in advance the energy consumption of the plant based on the operating conditions to be modeled and to the set-point parameters set in the process.
La seguente tesi è stata svolta durante un periodo di stage presso la ditta A.F. Bioenergie S.r.L. Lo scopo dell’elaborato è quello di svolgere un’analisi energetica dell’impianto di produzione di biometano e CO2 liquida food grade presente in ditta. La tesi si focalizza principalmente sul processo di lavorazione del biogas prodotto mediante digestione anaerobica (parametro di input) al fine di ottenere del biometano, da immettere in rete, e dell’anidride carbonica quasi pura allo stato liquido, da poter essere utilizzata nell’industria alimentare (parametri di output). Il reparto biologico, che permette la produzione di biogas partendo da scarti dell’industria agroalimentare, viene considerato solamente nelle descrizioni teoriche dei primi capitoli, mentre nella stesura dell’elaborato ci si concentra maggiormente sulla modellazione mediante software Matlab/Simulink del processo di elaborazione del biogas, analizzando ogni componente del processo di lavorazione del fluido, in modo tale da calcolare la potenza assorbita da ogni elemento, al fine di ottenere un simulatore in grado di prevedere in anticipo i consumi energetici dell’impianto in base alle condizioni operative da modellare e ai parametri di set-point impostati nel processo.
