The paper deals with female employment and the problems that unfortunately still persist today. Even nowadays, achieving a work-life balance is not taken for granted as there are many difficulties, especially for mothers. Stereotypes are still widespread and impact on women's career paths; a common stereotype concerns female versus male sectors and this takes the form of horizontal segregation. It is also difficult for women to reach higher levels and obtain promotions, because although there has certainly been progress in recent years, there is still a long way to go to break the famous glass ceiling. However, female entrepreneurship is growing, more and more women are deciding to start their own business for passion, to have more flexibility, to feel satisfied and gratified by their work. This is why I decided to interview 5 female entrepreneurs who are recognised for their achievements and success. The interviews are aimed at actually understanding what issues are still most perceived and experienced by women in their professional life and especially in the entrepreneurial sector.

Abstract
The interviews are aimed at actually understanding what issues are still most perceived and experienced by women in their professional life and especially in the entrepreneurial sector.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
