This study explores a field of terminology which has not been considered by terminologists for a longtime, the diachronic dimension. Besides offering an overview of the main theoretical and methodological elements which have been developed in the last years, our research aims at providing a practical application. Our attention is addressed to space exploration and, in particular, to exoplanetology, a field that we will try to investigate by adopting a short-term diachronic approach.
Il presente studio esplora un settore della terminologia che, per molti anni, non è stato considerato dai terminologi, la dimensione diacronica. Oltre a fornire un excursus sui principali elementi teorici e metodologici sviluppati negli ultimi anni, la ricerca ha lo scopo di darne un'applicazione pratica. Ad essere oggetto della nostra attenzione è l'ambito dell'esplorazione spaziale, in particolar modo l'esoplanetologia, di cui si cercherà di analizzare l'evoluzione adottando un approccio in diacronia corta.
