In this paper we want to analyze the salterns of Santa Maura, an island belonging to the Venetian dominion, under the management of Perulli's family in the eighteenth century. In particular, we want to study how this family managed to make them central in satisfying the salt need of the Republic of Venice and, moreover, to focus on the role that this product played in international trade.
In questo elaborato si vogliono analizzare le saline di Santa Maura, isola appartenente al dominio veneziano, sotto la gestione della famiglia Perulli nel XVIII secolo. In particolare, si vuole studiare come questa famiglia sia riuscita a renderle centrali nel soddisfare il bisogno di sale della Repubblica di Venezia e, inoltre, mettere a fuoco il ruolo che questo prodotto ha avuto nel commercio internazionale.
