The last years there's an increasing interest on modelling the high-energy emission of Active Galactic Nuclei using hadronic models, especially after the neutrino observation of the extragalactic source TXS 0506+056 in 2017, since neutrinos are produced only by hadronic emission processes. Therefore, with the use of a lepto-hadronic model instead of just a leptonic one, not only it is possible to characterize the spectral energy distribution of an AGN but also there's the possibility of predicting the neutrino spectrum as well. In this work, we try to create such a model using analytical expressions and numerical techniques in the framework of python.

Abstract
The last years there's an increasing interest on modelling the high-energy emission of Active Galactic Nuclei using hadronic models, especially after the neutrino observation of the extragalactic source TXS 0506+056 in 2017, since neutrinos are produced only by hadronic emission processes. Therefore, with the use of a lepto-hadronic model instead of just a leptonic one, not only it is possible to characterize the spectral energy distribution of an AGN but also there's the possibility of predicting the neutrino spectrum as well. In this work, we try to create such a model using analytical expressions and numerical techniques in the framework of python.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
