The aim of this thesis is the developement of a cost and price model for the production of specific aerospace components. The considered components are high pressure turbine and high pressure compressor discs featured in Rolls-Royce aircraft engines. A detailed investigation of the component design was carried out first, followed by a research of the manufacturing process steps and a calculation of process parameters. Using the obtained data and the existing Excel cost model structure, it was possible to develop the disc's cost model.

Abstract
The aim of this thesis is the developement of a cost and price model for the production of specific aerospace components. The considered components are high pressure turbine and high pressure compressor discs featured in Rolls-Royce aircraft engines. A detailed investigation of the component design was carried out first, followed by a research of the manufacturing process steps and a calculation of process parameters. Using the obtained data and the existing Excel cost model structure, it was possible to develop the disc's cost model.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
