The aim of this study was to explore Language testing (TAL) at the University of Padova. In particular, it was interesting to discover the perceptions of the students with Specific Learning Differences (SpLDs) on the TAL. To be able to carry out this task, research in the field of the different Specific Learning Differences was crucial for a better understanding of the difficulties that students might encounter during their academic experience. Moreover, an exploration of the literature on Language Testing was necessary to comprehend the most important characteristics of the field. Then, particular attention was drawn to the Language testing system at the University of Padova and to the support that is provided for students with Specific Learning Differences. In fact, accommodations that could be particularly helpful in order to allow the learners to reach their goals, were discussed. In the last chapter of the study, results emerged from the interviews with six students of the University of Padova with SpLDs, who had taken or had to take the TAL, were presented and discussed. Finally, the answers to the main research questions and hypothesis were stated.

Abstract
Finally, the answers to the main research questions and hypothesis were stated.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
