Analysis of Horace Coclite, a Roman heroic figure of the ancient Roman Republic. How it has become an example of the highest Latin virtues capable of consolidating the collective conception of the mos maiorum. Once this was done, we proceeded the study with the deepening, through the tools of Jungian psychoanalysis regarding the heroic figures, the archetypes and the collective unconscious. All of this trying to understand if Orazio himself had any, some or none of the characteristics that could be detected and/or found in the analytical schemes elaborated by the Swiss psychologist.
Analisi di Orazio Coclite, figura eroica romana di età repubblicana antica. Come sia diventato un esempio delle più alte virtù latine atte a consolidare la concezione collettiva del mos maiorum. Una volta fatto questo si è proceduto allo studio con l'approfondimento, tramite gli strumenti della psicoanalisi junghiana, in merito alle figure eroiche, agli archetipi e all'inconscio collettivo. Il tutto per cercare di comprendere se Orazio stesso avesse ogni, qualche o nessuna caratteristica che potesse essere rilevata e/o riscontrata negli schemi analitici elaborati dallo psicologo svizzero.
