Nowadays the amount of data that is collected is amazingly huge. The need for high computational resources to get real value from it is unavoidable, especially in the bioinformatics field. This fact makes more popular the deployment of on-premise computer clusters in institutions to solve their computational problems. However, they are usually hard to operate for non-technical users, and consequently, many user-friendly applications integrated with these clusters are required. This common integration task is still hard to be done in a scalable way and not many institutions have dedicated teams to build these applications fast enough. This project wants to provide a component to facilitate the integration of applications and computer clusters. This work will use a standardized interface that supports common Distributed Resource Managers and enhance it to build a simple but sophisticated API to fulfill usual use cases.
