Revision parameters as a tool for translator training: An empirical study

Revision is a crucial part of a translator´s job in order to achieve the desired degree of quality in translation. While conducting such revision activities, there are some principles and rules that might function as a sort of guidelines for revisers to gain a broad overview of all those aspects they should not forget to examine while checking for errors. Brian Mossop provided us with a complete list of these principles and called them the "Revision Parameters". Mossop´s revision parameters are employed as a tool for translation training to analyze whether their usage help revisers producing a more accurate target text.
