Far rivivere i quartieri. Attivismo sociale, palestre di comunità e sport popolare in uno studio antropologico nel contesto urbano padovano.

The present exploratory research is situated within the anthropological studies concerning 'grassroot sport'. The aim is to investigate the sense that social actors in 'grassroot sport' spaces give to their agency. The investigation moves from the realities of 'grassroot sport' in the Padua area, in an attempt to highlight the fundamental thematic areas underlying the broader universe of this practice. In the scientific literature we have noted a lack of attention on the anthropological relevance of the relationship between sport and the urban territory. To try to fill this gap, my research focuses specifically on the relationship between sport and urban space. The study, based on an analysis of the literature on the cultural trait, also presents a section dedicated to field research carried out through semi-structured interviews with cultural actors involved in five 'grassroot sport' realities in Padua. Several elements of particular interest emerged from the interviews, and the strong relationship between 'grassroot sport' and the urban territory was also confirmed.

La presente ricerca esplorativa si colloca all’interno degli studi antropologici riguardanti lo ‘sport popolare’. Lo scopo è quello di indagare il senso che gli attori sociali negli spazi di ‘sport popolare’ danno alla propria agency. L’indagine si muove a partire dalle realtà di ‘sport popolare’ sul territorio padovano, nel tentativo di evidenziare le aree tematiche fondamentali, sottostanti l’universo più ampio di questa pratica. Nella letteratura scientifica abbiamo rilevato una carenza di attenzione sulla rilevanza antropologica del rapporto fra sport e territorio urbano. Per provare a colmare questa lacuna la mia ricerca si concentra in particolare proprio sulla relazione fra sport e spazio urbano. Lo studio, basato sull’analisi della letteratura relativa al tratto culturale, presenta anche una sezione dedicata alla ricerca sul campo realizzata attraverso interviste semi-strutturate realizzate con gli attori culturali coinvolti in cinque realtà di ‘sport popolare’ presenti a Padova. Dalle interviste sono emersi diversi elementi di particolare interesse ed è stata confermata anche la forte relazione fra ‘sport popolare’ e territorio urbano.
