Il Regno d'Inverno, Spazi, Oggetti e Traiettoria dello Sguardo

In my thesis I take into consideration the film “The Winter Sleep” that the Turkish director Nuri Bilge Ceylan produced in 2014, obtaining the Palme d'Or at the Cannes festival in the same year. My work is divided into four parts: the first part, which is more general, analyzes the author's background and introduces the film; the second part deals with the importance of the Spaces in Ceylan's work; the third part examines the evocative function of the Objects that characterize the different environments and enrich the scenography; in the fourth part the subject of reflection is the depth of Gaze of the central characters. The movie discussed in this thesis is full of symbolic and significant elements that in my work I have tried to analyze to offer an interpretation to the message that the director wanted to deliver through his film.

Nella mia tesi prendo in considerazione il film “Il Regno d'Inverno” che il regista turco Nuri Bilge Ceylan ha prodotto nel 2014 ottenendo la Palma d'Oro al festival di Cannes nello stesso anno. L'elaborato si articola in quattro parti: la prima, più generale, analizza la formazione dell'autore e introduce al film; la seconda tratta l'importanza degli spazi presenti all'interno dell'opera; la terza esamina la funzione evocativa degli oggetti che caratterizzano i diversi ambienti e arricchiscono la scenografia; nella quarta infine è la profondità degli sguardi dei protagonisti ad essere oggetto di riflessione. Il cinema trattato è particolarmente ricco di elementi simbolici e significativi che nel mio lavoro ho cercato di analizzare per offrire un'interpretazione al messaggio che il regista ha voluto trasmettere con la sua opera.
