In John Dewey’s pedagogy and philosophy a key element is experience. He considered it not as the static result of a set of sensations and acquired information, but as a process in which individuals and the environment determine and modify each other. Starting from the thought of the American philosopher and pedagogist, this work aims to demonstrate, through stories of professional experiences, the importance of understanding the educational relationship, the link between educator and educating, as a journey to be undertaken together in the becoming human existence.

Abstract
In John Dewey’s pedagogy and philosophy a key element is experience. He considered it not as the static result of a set of sensations and acquired information, but as a process in which individuals and the environment determine and modify each other. Starting from the thought of the American philosopher and pedagogist, this work aims to demonstrate, through stories of professional experiences, the importance of understanding the educational relationship, the link between educator and educating, as a journey to be undertaken together in the becoming human existence.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
