Work and industry through staff registers: the sugar factory of Bottrighe (1974 and 1977)

Examining a period of change and innovation like the Seventies, the thesis aims to study the Venetian situation in terms of work and industry through staff registers for a specific case. The case study is the sugar factory of Bottrighe (RO), whose information taken by staff registers showed a stimulating image and some causes for reflection about topics such as wages, work and mobility. In the end, historical assumptions always made regarding the Venetian industry of the Seventies will be confirmed, or exceptions will be revealed.

Esaminando un periodo di grande cambiamenti e innovazioni come gli anni Settanta, la tesi si propone di studiare la situazione lavorativa e industriale in Veneto attraverso i libri matricola di un caso specifico. Il caso è quello dello zuccherificio di Bottrighe (RO), le cui informazioni prese dai libri matricola hanno mostrato un quadro stimolante e degli spunti di riflessione su argomenti come la remunerazione, il lavoro e la mobilità.
