The plantar aponeurosis, also known as the plantar fascia, is a layer of connective tissue that covers the plantar area of the foot. This is a reticular system, as well as one of the main stabilizing structures of the longitudinal arch of the foot. In the following paper it is proposed to investigate the mechanical properties of the plantar aponeurosis. The samples examined were obtained from 4 human subjects undergoing interileoabdominal amputation and transfermoral amputation in response to chondrosarcoma and leiomyosarcoma. Tensile tests and stress relaxation tests for 300 s and 400 s under hydrated conditions at room temperature were evaluated for mechanical properties.
L’aponeurosi plantare detta anche fascia plantare, è uno strato di tessuto connettivo che ha il comito di rivestire la zona plantare del piede. Questa è un sistema reticolare, nonché una delle principali strutture stabilizzanti dell’arco longitudinale del piede. Nel seguente elaborato viene proposto di indagare sulle proprietà meccaniche dell’aponeurosi plantare. I campioni presi in esame sono stati ottenuti da 4 soggetti umani sottoposti ad amputazione interileoaddominale e amputazione transfermorale in risposta a condrosarcoma e leiomiosarcoma. Sono state valutate per proprietà meccaniche delle prove di trazione e delle prove di rilassamento dello stress per 300 s e 400 s in condizioni idratate a temperatura ambiente.
