The purpose of this thesis was to investigate the mechanical behavior of the patellar tendon in activities that stress that structure and induce pathologies such as patellar tendinopathy and chronic knee pain. It will also analyze a particular patellar tendon's quality, described as shear modulus or stiffness or elastic modulus and which role it plays in resilience and injury prevention, especially for patellar tendinopathy.

Abstract
The purpose of this thesis was to investigate the mechanical behavior of the patellar tendon in activities that stress that structure and induce pathologies such as patellar tendinopathy and chronic knee pain. It will also analyze a particular patellar tendon's quality, described as shear modulus or stiffness or elastic modulus and which role it plays in resilience and injury prevention, especially for patellar tendinopathy.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
