The aim of this study is to explore inclusive education through the lens of the Montessori method, specifically focusing on its suitability for children with special needs. Additionally, current Montessori schools around the globe will be used as a valuable resource for understanding how this approach actually functions. The research question aims to assess the impact of the Montessori Method on the educational outcomes and experiences of students with disabilities in inclusive settings. Given the absence of a universally ideal educational approach for children with disabilities, this research serves as an illustrative case study, offering a potential solution for inclusivity. The research methodology involves an in-depth investigation of the Montessori method, inclusive education, fieldwork including a visit to a Montessori school in Padova, observations, and conversations with teachers. By synthesizing these components, the study seeks to provide insights into the viability of the Montessori method as an inclusive education strategy for children with disabilities.
