It delves into the inclusive sports model and explores educational practices such as Universal Design for Learning, Peer Tutoring, and Cooperative Learning. The methodology is based on the analysis of scientific literature, with a focus on challenges and opportunities related to inclusion in the field of physical education and sports. The results highlight positive impacts of sports activities and social inclusion, emphasizing their importance for self-esteem and active participation. In conclusion, physical education and sports play a crucial role in promoting the inclusion and personal development of individuals with intellectual disabilities, contributing to the creation of environments where diversity is celebrated.
Questa tesi esplora il ruolo dell'educazione fisica e dello sport nell'inclusione sociale delle persone con disabilità intellettiva. Si concentra sul riconoscimento del diritto allo sport per queste persone e esamina organizzazioni impegnate nello sport adattato. Approfondisce il modello di sport inclusivo e esplora pratiche educative come Universal Design for Learning, Peer Tutoring e Cooperative Learning. La metodologia si basa sull'analisi della letteratura scientifica, con un focus sulle sfide e opportunità legate all'inclusione nell'ambito dell'educazione fisica e sportiva.
