The thesis aims to compare the 3D musculoskeletal model constructed from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) images with a similar model obtained using the scaling tool of openSim. For both models, data from different gait cycles acquired from experimental trials are compared with the results of a simulation algorithm based on the optimization of a cost function. The case studies examined involve two young patients with musculoskeletal deformities caused by cerebral palsy.

Abstract
The thesis aims to compare the 3D musculoskeletal model constructed from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) images with a similar model obtained using the scaling tool of openSim. For both models, data from different gait cycles acquired from experimental trials are compared with the results of a simulation algorithm based on the optimization of a cost function. The case studies examined involve two young patients with musculoskeletal deformities caused by cerebral palsy.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
