This study aims to explore the relationship between language and ecology through the lens of ecolinguistics. The primary objective is to investigate how political literature becomes a vehicle for expressing socio-ecological issues, environmental discrimination, and challenges related to differences (species, gender, ethnicity, ability). The study examines communicative strategies in environmental communication and the role of metaphors in shaping public perception of environmental issues. Furthermore, an ecological analysis of discourse is presented, with a detailed study of online texts published by two Spanish political parties. The discursive strategies used in relation to environmental issues are identified, with a particular emphasis on the diametrically opposed views of the parties: one denies the climate crisis, while the other actively engages in the fight against it. The conclusions of this thesis summarize the most significant findings and highlight the relevance of these results in the context of environmental communication and discourse, along with possible implications for society and politics.

Abstract
The conclusions of this thesis summarize the most significant findings and highlight the relevance of these results in the context of environmental communication and discourse, along with possible implications for society and politics.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
