La variación diafásica en el doblaje del español al italiano en el producto audiovisual "Vis a Vis".

This study analyses the diaphasic variation in the dubbing of the series "Vis a Vis" from Spanish into Italian. The main objective is to examine how linguistic registers and dialectal variants are adapted in audiovisual translation. For this purpose, several episodes of the series were selected and the original Spanish and Italian dubbed versions were compared. Changes in the choice of terms and expressions were identified, as well as adjustments in the tone and style of the characters. In addition, the way in which differences in register level and dialect present in the original material are conveyed were explored. The results revealed that Italian dubbing not only aims for a literal translation, but also adapts to diaphasic variation, attempting to maintain the consistency and authenticity of the characters in the Italian context. This study provides further insight into the complexity and importance of diaphasic variation in audiovisual translation, as well as the need to consider it in future dubbing projects.

Este estudio analiza la variación diafásica en el doblaje de la serie "Vis a Vis" al pasar del español al italiano. El objetivo principal es examinar cómo se adaptan los registros lingüísticos y las variantes dialectales en la traducción audiovisual. Para ello, se seleccionaron varios episodios de la serie y se compararon las versiones original en español y doblada al italiano. Se identificaron cambios en la elección de términos y expresiones, así como ajustes en el tono y estilo de los personajes. Además, se exploró la manera en que se transmiten las diferencias de nivel de registro y dialecto presentes en el material original. Los resultados revelaron que el doblaje en italiano no solo busca una traducción literal, sino que también se adapta a la variación diafásica, intentando mantener la coherencia y la autenticidad de los personajes en el contexto italiano. Este estudio proporciona una visión más profunda de la complejidad y la importancia de la variación diafásica en la traducción audiovisual, así como la necesidad de considerarla en futuros proyectos de doblaje.
