This thesis aims to conduct a detailed fluidodynamic analysis of two types of devices subjected to Vortex-Induced Vibration (VIV): a flat plate and a hydrofoil. The main objectives include the study of vortex-induced vibration characteristics, the analysis of the involved aerodynamic or hydrodynamic forces, and the assessment of the performance of both devices with respect to an energy-harvesting purpose.

Abstract
This thesis aims to conduct a detailed fluidodynamic analysis of two types of devices subjected to Vortex-Induced Vibration (VIV): a flat plate and a hydrofoil. The main objectives include the study of vortex-induced vibration characteristics, the analysis of the involved aerodynamic or hydrodynamic forces, and the assessment of the performance of both devices with respect to an energy-harvesting purpose.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
