In this master's thesis, the main topic was the development of a model of heating shoes. The starting point of the discussion was the theory of thermal comfort and the presentation of some personal comfort systems technologies already invented and patented. The following steps were: the creation and the design of a simplified model of a pair of heating socks, the build up of the prototypes and the laboratory tests on people. At the end, the discussion of the results and some conclusions were presented.
