The research addresses the increasing emphasis on sustainability in business operations and the importance of integrating environmentally conscious suppliers into supply chain management. Utilizing the Scopus database, the study employs a thorough selection process, including only peer-reviewed journal articles published between 1995 and 2022, to ensure quality and relevance. The review highlights the need for clear, evidence-based tools for improving sustainable sourcing operations and supports organizations in their pursuit of long-term sustainable strategies. By analysing and synthesizing data from selected articles, the research aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of effective strategies for green supplier identification, facilitating better integration of sustainability into supply chain practices.
