This thesis aims at scrutinizing the interplays between history, subjectivity, and objectivity, by challengeing conventional notions of historical objectivity and urging a nuanced and critical approach to history that recognizes the complexity of human perspectives. Through an analysis of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, this study navigates conflicting historical accounts, shedding light on media portrayals and the underlying biases shaping these narratives. Addressing the limitations and potential criticisms of historical inquiry, it strives to strike a balance between acknowledging subjectivity and advancing towards a more objective understanding of the past.
