The paper aims to investigate the history of the iconographic interpretation of the Tizianeschi Emo Capodilista Panels, conserved in the Civic Museums of Padua, proposing a new interpretation based on the analysis of ancient texts and sources. Following the explanation of the uncertain collector's history of the works, the paper will delve into the main theme of the iconography and joint significance of the panels, firstly providing an overview of the state of the art on the subject, and then proposing a new and personal interpretation.

L'elaborato vuole indagare la storia dell'interpretazione iconografica dei pannelli tizianeschi Emo Capodilista, conservati ai Musei Civici di Padova, proponendone una nuova lettura, basata sull'analisi dei testi e fonti antiche. Successivamente alla spiegazione dell'incerta storia collezionista delle opere, il lavoro approfondirà il tema dell'iconografia e del significato congiunto dei pannelli, fornendo in primo luogo una panoramica dello stato dell'arte in materia, per poi proporre una nuova e personale interpretazione.
