The aim of this thesis is to examine empathy towards female rape victims and the multiple factors that may condition it. Through an analysis of scientific studies, various key aspects are explored and contextualized such as the psychological, social and cultural dynamics that shape individuals' responses when faced with cases of sexual violence. It’s also investigated the crucial role that factors such as rape myths and victim blaming have in determining higher or lower empathetic responses. Through the examination of different theoretical approaches, we may understand how empathy can be developed, enhanced and effectively applied in helping victims and promoting a culture of support and consciousness with the purpose of promoting greater knowledge and awareness on these issues.

Through the examination of different theoretical approaches, we may understand how empathy can be developed, enhanced and effectively applied in helping victims and promoting a culture of support and consciousness with the purpose of promoting greater knowledge and awareness on these issues.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
