The aim of this paper is to present the work carried out on the design of an alternative catalyst for the synthesis of ammonia by the Haber-Bosch process and the modelling of the reaction mechanism on this product. Firstly, the method of synthesis of the planned catalyst was analysed in order to highlight its potential weaknesses, including the different deposition yield of the active phase depending on the support used and the ineffective promotion method of the catalyst. An analysis of the kinetic models of this reaction was then carried out.

Abstract
The aim of this paper is to present the work carried out on the design of an alternative catalyst for the synthesis of ammonia by the Haber-Bosch process and the modelling of the reaction mechanism on this product. Firstly, the method of synthesis of the planned catalyst was analysed in order to highlight its potential weaknesses, including the different deposition yield of the active phase depending on the support used and the ineffective promotion method of the catalyst. An analysis of the kinetic models of this reaction was then carried out.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
