Abstract
The Lab-On-Chip industry is a fast-growing sector that requires integration of functionalities in a single cartridge. Microfluidic applications are the main focus of the Silicon Biotech Lab of STMicroelectronics. In this thesis it is presented the design and development of a test bench for the characterization of Lab-On-Chip components, to evaluate their fluidic resistance. The results of the characterization tests performed on valves are fundamental when choosing the most appropriate fluidic components for the cartridges of Point of Care diagnostic devices under development at STMicroelectronics.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
