This thesis, built on an internship experience, explores the implementation of a Continuous Integration (CI) approach in industrial automation, focusing specifically on the development of a Laser Cutting Machine. The project is based on the ANSI/ISA-95 Enterprise-Control System Integration standard. The thesis explores the application of the standard within the Salvagnini environment, providing a detailed account of how the standard control model is integrated into the company's iterative work methodology. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the development of simulations for individual components of the Laser Machine with associated unit tests. The second part of the thesis documents the design and development of an additional module, accompanied by its simulation and testing. The conclusion of the project is the simulation of the entire laser machine with specific integration tests.
