Enhancement of business intelligence platforms through artificial intelligence: applications to supply chain and logistics management

The aim of the paper was to investigate the impact on business intelligence and the related platforms, which the application of artificial intelligence can bring in the supply chain and logistics field. In particular, we focused on the search, within the existing literature available for consultation, for case studies regarding real applications in the industrial sphere in order to concretely prove the feasibility and the real benefits that this synergy can bring to the field.

L'obiettivo del lavoro è concentrato nell'indagare l'impatto sul business intelligence e le relative piattaforme, che l'applicazione dell'intelligenza artificiale può portare in ottica di supply chain e logistica. In particolare ci si è concentrati sulla ricerca, all'interno della letteratura esistente consultabile, di casi studio riguardanti reali applicazioni in ambito industriale al fine di provare concretamente la fattibilità ed i reali benefici che tale sinergia può portare sul campo.
