Instaurazione: un'avventura filosofica. Étienne Souriau.

The aim of the present study is to investigate creativity as a constitutive component of philosophy through the philosophical production of an undoubtedly forgotten yet recently rediscovered author: Étienne Souriau. Core of the French philosopher's thought is in fact the notion of "institution", i.e. the set of creative or constructive processes capable of bringing into being a self-signifying singular existence that is undeniably and concretely present. Souriau's masterpiece, and the main subject of our work, is "L'instauration philosophique", in which he not only identifies philosophy and art based on a common ontogenetic nature, so that philosophical productions are considered as true works of art, forming a proper corpus or genre known as the "Pleroma", but also outlines certain structural laws or formal invariants by means of which philosophical works are built up and sustained. Since the notions of "virtual", "work of art" and "anaphoric procedure" are fundamental components of the aforementioned work, it will be preparatory for the reader's comprehension to go back over Souriau's production and examine: firstly, the reason for the distinction between institution and creation, secondly the different modes of existence, and finally the concept of the work of art in order to understand the modal, labile, pluralist and not least mutually supportive ontology ontology underlying Souriau's thought. The paper ends with a short appendix on artistic symptomatology and the future of philosophy, both themes dear to the late Souriau.

Il presente elaborato si propone di indagare la creatività quale componente costitutiva della filosofia attraverso la produzione filosofica di un autore sicuramente dimenticato quantunque recentemente riscoperto: Étienne Souriau. Cardine del pensiero del filosofo francese è infatti la nozione di "instaurazione", vale a dire l'insieme di processi creativi o costruttivi atti a porre in essere un'esistenza singolare autosignificante, innegabilmente e concretamente presente. Capolavoro di Souriau e oggetto principale del nostro lavoro è "L'instauration philosophique", nel quale egli oltre a identificare filosofia e arte in virtù di una comune natura ontogenetica, onde la considerazione delle produzioni filosofiche quali vere e proprie opere d'arte formanti un corpus o genere proprio detto "Pleroma", delinea alcune leggi strutturali o invarianti formali per mezzo delle quali vengono edificate e sorrette le opere filosofiche. Poiché quali componenti fondamentali dell'opera succitata figurano le nozioni di "virtuale", "opera d'arte" e "procedimento anaforico", sarà propedeutico per una comprensione quanto più agevole per il lettore ripercorrere a ritroso la produzione di Souriau e approfondire: innanzitutto, il perché del distinguo tra instaurazione e creazione, secondariamente, la tematica dei differenti modi di esistenza e infine la concezione di opera d'arte al fine di cogliere l’ontologia modale, labile, pluralista e non ultimo solidale a fondamento del pensiero soureliano. Termina l'elaborato una breve appendice sulla sintomatologia artistica e sull'avvenire della filosofia, temi cari all'ultimo Souriau.
