The thesis investigates the morphosyntactic characteristics of verb forms in the productions of agrammatic patients. Agrammatism is a morphosyntactic disorder typical of non-fluent aphasias, in particular Broca's aphasia. It is characterized by the presence of alterations in verbal morphology. In this thesis, speech samples gathered from eight aphasic patients with vascular, neurodegenerative and oncological aetiology were analized, in order to investigate the number and type of errors committed in the TAM and agreement domains. The results support the Tense Underspecification Hypothesis and the Tree Pruning Hypothesis.
