Il cambiamento climatico. Una sfida da vincere.

Climate change represents one of the greatest challenges currently facing the world: the future of the Earth and its inhabitants has never been more uncertain. The situation is also complicated by the fact that this phenomenon affects and conditions various areas of people's daily lives, such as political, social, and economic. In general, in order to understand climate change, it is important to know the situation of the Earth and its fundamental elements, both by adopting a look to the past and toward the present. Commitment and support is required from the Earth's inhabitants in order to be able to face this challenge, which certainly cannot be overcome in a short period of time, but which needs a concrete plan of action as of now. In this regard, an in-depth study concerning the agreements and negotiations that have been made over the years is necessary in order to have a general overview of the political situation, especially in view of future decisions that will be made. For this reason, the necessary actions that individuals, businesses and states will have to take in order to be able to combat climate change and especially to curb the emission of greenhouse gases, which are considered to be the main culprits of the situation, will be presented. Finally, the topic of climate change, given its importance with respect to the future of the world, also needs to be known at the school level: for this reason, an in-depth study will be presented concerning environmental education and more generally an ecological discourse.

Il cambiamento climatico rappresenta una delle maggiori sfide che attualmente il mondo si trova a dover fronteggiare: il futuro della Terra e dei suoi abitanti non è mai stato così incerto. La situazione è complicata anche dal fatto che tale fenomeno influenza e condiziona vari ambiti della vita quotidiana delle persone, come quello politico, sociale, economico. In generale, per comprendere il cambiamento climatico, è importante conoscere la situazione della Terra e dei suoi elementi fondamentali, sia adottando uno sguardo al passato che verso il presente. Agli abitanti della Terra è richiesto impegno e sostegno per poter affrontare questa sfida che sicuramente non potrà essere vinta in un breve arco di tempo, ma che necessita fin da oggi di un piano di azione concreto. A questo proposito, risulta necessario un approfondimento riguardante gli accordi e i negoziati che sono stati presi nel corso degli anni, per poter disporre di una panoramica generale della situazione politica, soprattutto in vista delle future decisioni che verranno adottate. Per questo motivo verranno presentate le azioni necessarie che singoli cittadini, imprese e Stati dovranno far proprie per poter contrastare il cambiamento climatico e soprattutto per arginare l’emissione di gas ad effetto serra, ritenuti i principali responsabili della situazione. Infine, il tema del cambiamento climatico, data la sua importanza rispetto al futuro del mondo, necessita di essere conosciuto anche a livello scolastico: per questo motivo verrà presentato un approfondimento riguardante l'educazione ambientale e più in generale un discorso ecologico.
