All over the world, workers age is growing at an increasing rate. Companies are called upon to explore new methods to face age-related workforce management challenges and to seize new opportunities. Age-friendly working environments are fundamental to enhance ageing workforce inclusion, managing and accommodating the needs of older workers and utilizing their expertise and experiences effectively. This thesis focuses on a company case study: through a collection and analysis of data, the aim is to create a roadmap for ageing workforce management to identify the appropriate practices to be implemented in the organisation to increase workers motivation and productivity. Previous literature research, the MAIA project and the new ISO 25550:2022 will guide the study and the analysis to give a strategic tool to be used by the company to move towards a more sustainable, inclusive and resilient labour force.

Abstract
All over the world, workers age is growing at an increasing rate. Companies are called upon to explore new methods to face age-related workforce management challenges and to seize new opportunities. Age-friendly working environments are fundamental to enhance ageing workforce inclusion, managing and accommodating the needs of older workers and utilizing their expertise and experiences effectively. This thesis focuses on a company case study: through a collection and analysis of data, the aim is to create a roadmap for ageing workforce management to identify the appropriate practices to be implemented in the organisation to increase workers motivation and productivity. Previous literature research, the MAIA project and the new ISO 25550:2022 will guide the study and the analysis to give a strategic tool to be used by the company to move towards a more sustainable, inclusive and resilient labour force.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
