This thesis aims to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the optical performance of the SkyCompass-1 Telescope, a crucial component for space missions involving laser communication. It is a 250mm Ritchey-Chretien afocal telescope installed in a Geostationary Satellite. Focusing on the study of tolerance within the optical system, the primary objective is to evaluate the impact of variations in design specifications on the final performance of the telescope. Advanced simulations and Monte Carlo analyses will be employed to examine various tolerance scenarios, including geometric deviations, surface errors, and misalignments. The results of this research will provide a detailed understanding of the optical behavior of the SkyCompass-1 Telescope under realistic conditions and will identify critical tolerances that must be rigorously controlled during the production and assembly process.

Abstract
The results of this research will provide a detailed understanding of the optical behavior of the SkyCompass-1 Telescope under realistic conditions and will identify critical tolerances that must be rigorously controlled during the production and assembly process.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
