Optical aberrations can reduce the resolution of images formed by a microscope. The use of wavefront modulators permits to mitigate the effect of aberrations, increasing image resolution and contrast. In this thesis project, we will explore the use of deformable lenses and methods for their use in microscopy. In particular, the study will be oriented towards the development of a method with the aim of improving the correction over an extended image area.

Abstract
Optical aberrations can reduce the resolution of images formed by a microscope. The use of wavefront modulators permits to mitigate the effect of aberrations, increasing image resolution and contrast. In this thesis project, we will explore the use of deformable lenses and methods for their use in microscopy. In particular, the study will be oriented towards the development of a method with the aim of improving the correction over an extended image area.File in questo prodotto:
