The need to understand the teaching level of Quantum Physics in Italian High School and the reasons why there are restrictions in the application in class of new approaches (despite the lot of researches on them), had led to this work. So the thesis starts with a scoping review on the main articles on Quantum Physics teaching focusing on the teaching of the main topics of this theory. Then it proceeds with the description of the questionnaire developed by Onorato, Di Mauro and Malgieri (2024) from University of Trento and Pavia with some extra questions. The results from our questionnaire and the one used by Trento were grouped and study together with the work of another candidate at university of Trento, Perli (2024) (at least for the common questions). The final analysis of the questionnaire gives some hints on the QP teaching structure in Veneto High School, that can give an estimation of what we have to do to improve not only in this region, but the whole country, going beyond the curriculum proposed in the National Guidelines for Italian High School, so going beyond the Old Quantum Physics. The research questions of this work are: 1. What are physics teachers’ attitudes and beliefs about teaching Quantum Physics in secondary school? 2. What do teachers consider as the most important aspects of Quantum Physics to be taught in secondary school, and do their views align with those of experts?

Abstract
2. What do teachers consider as the most important aspects of Quantum Physics to be taught in secondary school, and do their views align with those of experts?File | Dimensione | Formato | |
