Social innovation in marginalized rural areas: Which factors enable local development processes?

This study investigates the relationship between social innovation and local development in marginal rural areas. In particular, it asks whether social innovation can be a strategy to tackle the structural problems of rural and semi-rural areas and which factors facilitate the emergence of local development processes.
