The stall mechanism in vaneless diffuser has been matter of research since the 1950. The work presented has the aim to analyze the behavior of diffusers in critical conditions. Therefore, analyzing the changes in the stall mechanism according to the geometrical features, while in the meantime evaluating the critical angle for which the stall starts manifesting.
