Data management in an agricultural machinery company: modeling and analysis of human resources and energy data to improve business processes

In this thesis I present two projects I carried out during my internship in Carraro SPA. The main topic is the data management in the company, focusing on the modeling and analysis of human resources and energy data. By integrating advanced data analytics techniques, the study aims to enhance business processes, optimize resource allocation and reduce operational costs. This is the case for both projects: the first one consisted in the creation of an organizational chart, aimed at improving the company environment and promoting interactions between workers. The second one included the study and collection of information to create a data model, necessary to monitor energy costs and consumption. A predictive algorithm was also developed to try to estimate future consumption. The results of these two projects will be used by the company to continue its process of strengthening, modernizing and remaining competitive in the international panorama.
