In this study, we aim to discover the similar neuronal activation of numerical cognition and hand motor activities by using fNIRS imaging technique. This is a follow-up study of the same concepts which are investigated on right-handed participants with the use of right hand motions; the further inspection is held on the right-handed participants, but this time with the use of left hand motions. The earlier setup for the programming and planning the tasks are used with the difference of the instructions for the hand movements. Participants are recruited by a set of criteria and they are awarded by a voucher for their participation to the experiment afterwards. This study is held at the fNIRS laboratory of University of Padova, at the Department of Developmental Psychology and Socialisation.

Abstract
In this study, we aim to discover the similar neuronal activation of numerical cognition and hand motor activities by using fNIRS imaging technique. This is a follow-up study of the same concepts which are investigated on right-handed participants with the use of right hand motions; the further inspection is held on the right-handed participants, but this time with the use of left hand motions. The earlier setup for the programming and planning the tasks are used with the difference of the instructions for the hand movements. Participants are recruited by a set of criteria and they are awarded by a voucher for their participation to the experiment afterwards. This study is held at the fNIRS laboratory of University of Padova, at the Department of Developmental Psychology and Socialisation.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
